CIRCULAR ECO-OFFICE, SHEUNG WAN

Brief:
Sustaina undertook the refurbishment of our newly leased office prioritising sustainability and ingenuity to create a welcoming workspace that aligns with our core values. We transformed the space into an inspiring environment, featuring a cosy pantry, circular design choices, and 95 percent of furniture procured from pre owned sources.

What we did:
We transformed our Sheung Wan office into a living example of circular practice. A cosy pantry anchors the workspace as a place to recharge and connect, while the wider scheme is defined by thoughtful reuse. We sourced 95 percent of loose furniture from pre loved suppliers, carefully curating pieces with quality and character and restoring where needed to extend their lifespan. Where items could not be reused directly, we repurposed and adapted them to serve a new function, reducing waste and embodied carbon. The material palette was kept honest and durable to support long term maintenance and future reuse. The result is a warm, inspiring environment that demonstrates how circular thinking can deliver comfort, style, and value, while giving existing products a meaningful second life and elevating team morale and creativity.
